1996 cadillac deville it has went through two starters in two days because it keeps breaking the nose off of the starter any ideas?

Something wrong with flexplate most likely. Was it 2 replacement starters that broke or stock and a replacement?

Its a second hand car and not sure but the replacement starter came from a wrecking yard and it broke in the same place as the first one.
