Just bought a 2012 with a 6.2L engine in it and found out it has 2 broken exhaust manifold bolts that are leaking. I found out it will cost way too much to take it to a shop, so I am trying to find some options that I could do at home. I have tried the drill out method on other SUV's in the past as my family used to have a 2005 Tahoe. That was too much of a pain that I actually gave up on it. I found an option which uses a bracket to clamp the exhaust manifold together rather than replacing a broken bolt with a new one again. KAP bolt repair kits. Thought I would get some input before I got any further with the repair. Anyone used anything like this before or have other recommendations?
