Hi All,
this is on my 99 de ville, when i apply my breaks with anything other than a feather light touch, the front end of my car dives pretty noticably. for a hard stop i would think this is pretty much normal, but for just about all stops? is this the norm for these cars?

Sounds like new front Strut time. My 1990 Deville was doing that and new struts cured it.

new struts baby, you just need new inner struts, a new total strut will cost you over a thousand.

its the inside of the shock and spring they are called cartridges.
