Totally depends on your driving habits. One weekend at the track and it's time. Driving strictly on the highway and yo can get tens of thousands. Your results may vary. Remember, your brakes have a tell-tale squeal when they are ready to be replaced.

i drive very light, highway and country roads only no track... Thank you for the advice... i know its perhaps fundamental but i wasnt sure if maybe there was something unique to the V...

No, nothing special, so to speak. I got close to 100k on my brakes! Lots of highway miles.

For what it is worth, my 2010 has 60k miles and the original brakes. They are getting worn and will likely need repl by 70k miles.
