I am searching for a brake proportioning valve for my 95 Deville base. The gm part number is 18018429. I have searched the internet and can’t come up with a source, as the part has been discontinued. Does anyone have an idea of where I may be able to find one?

If not available new any longer the junkyard about only option.
A quick search shows 95/96 used the same but 97 up changed.
If you punch into a gm parts site it might give you alternative numbers also(superseded by #).

found it - there are no superseded numbers -
that part was used only on 1994 through 1996 Deville - Seville - and Eldorado -

where to buy a new one - try this -
http://oemcats.com/oem-parts/18018429.html#shops

by the way - there are TWO of these on the car - one for the right rear - one for the left rear -
one is mounted near the rear - the other is mounted near the master cylinder -

I tried oemcats. No longer available. I have a mechanic lined up to replace the brake lines, but he is hesitant because of the proportioning valves. He says if he breaks off a fitting and ruins the valve, that there is no replacement valve available, so now he doesn’t want to replace the brake lines. Said he doesn’t want to risk it. Any ideas from the forum would be greatly appreciated

What does this valve look like? Is it round 3/4" thick by 3" long? Or the square-ish version?
I've got the round version (silver with a blue end) off a mid '90s Caddy that you can have.
No part #.
Not sure if these proportioning valves are all the same spec.
