Is there any brake kit available for my 97 concours? When i hit the brakes car vibrates way too much. I'm thiniking that rotors need to be resurfaced but i want a better brake to go with my boat. So now i'm looking for a nice little brake kit to replace my current rotor and pads.

at tirerack.com they have Brembo Sport Slotted Rotors for 97 devilles for 246 for the both front rotors. They also have Power Slot rotors for 134 for each side so 268, so brembos are cheaper and better.

it says brake kits, suspension kits, and other items aren't available available for concours. Can i just get stuff for regular deville or are they different in some way?

iam not 100% sure but i would think the brake parts would be interchangable. Try sending them and email and see if they can tell ya.

I learned someting the hard way... :banghead: If you over torque your lug nuts you can warp your rotors, especially if you live in a hot climate!

Another cause for "Warped Rotors" is the holding the brakes after a rather fast stop. This concentrates the heat under the pads and can cause the rotors to warp somewhat. [email protected]

I was on ebay(i KNOW) sometime ago when I had my gti and I stumble upon and company that sells full brake kits for cheap. so i bought them and to my suprise they were great. so whem my 96 devill needed brakes I went to ebay and found the company.I got 4 sloted and cross drilled rotors 4 brake pads for 185.00 + shipping to my door. they have been on for 2 months and they work great! just what i neede for that big boat.
