I am trying to just do a standard brake pad and rotor replacement. I've done it before but am having some trouble this time around. The caddy just spent it's first winter in the northeast. Long story short my lug studs are a bit rusted and when I tightened the caliper to the bracket with the new pads and rotors I did not pay any attention to keeping the rotor flush. That is-I didn't put a lug nut on the studs to push the rotor flush against the hub. I got both caliper mounting bolts in with no problem. Could this mess up alignment or warp rotors? When I put the tire on I was reminded that the rim could rub against the caliper if everything wasn't properly aligned. Should I be OK? Or do I start over? Thanks for the help
