Hello guys,

just a short question, i checked my oil/brake fluid level and located something strange?!?
There is no wire plugged in my brake fluid reservoir, normal or?!? :eek:

i made a picture...

No, it's not normal. Someone unplugged it and did not plug it back in. Like Dave said, it's the level sensor. You probably have a code for it.

Checked for codes, nothing. Plugged in and still no codes, guess it's ok now? Hopefully it's the right wire?! :confused:

But why should someone unplug the wire and put a cap on the socket? Makes no sense to me.

My guess is that is a protective cap used in shipping. The reservoir was replaced (probably due to a bad sensor) and the cap was never removed and the plug was never plugged back in.

After a short test drive, everything is fine...
