I have a similar success story. I have a 1993 Deville. I put 300,000 miles on it (298,000 actually). It's been a good car, so I went and got another Caddy last month - a 2003 Seville STS. I love it.

It also has every option! I activated XM Radio four days ago.

caddylacgirl96, can you post pics of your new ride?

Wish I had success with my cadi.. Im like a person in an abusive relationship and too much in love to realize it.. Wish I could get a newer one.. and of course the GM cert. warranty to 100k. But anyways.. 02' would be a great year for me.

Hmm, mine only had one. I did not care for the looks of it either and removed it. I thought it was for the cell phone but after looking through the owners manual again, I am not sure if it was not for Onstar. Maybe you have one for Onstar and one for a cell phone.

:histeric:No, I didn't do that.

BTW. Pull your spare tire cover off and get your hand down under the spare tire. They are notorious for trunk leaks and that is where the water will accumulate. You'll feel the pad wet if it is leaking.

Yup. It is usually the trunk gasket or a body seam by the tail lights. Just had mine fixed under warranty. Do a search. It has been discussed many times along with instructions on how to repair it.

Another tip: Be sure to check it after the repair. They fixed mine but put it back together without drying out the liner. I had to take it out and dry it in the sun.

I am going back tomorrow morning because they replaced the passenger side seat heater element but it still doesn't heat worth a damn. That will be another morning shot. Boy I hate brining it in for service.
