I agree with you dkoz, but what if there are more places within the water jacket that have corrosion? Its evident the prior owners didnt take the necessary precautions to keep the cooling system up to par.
I havent really had time to take it to another shop to pull the engine. Thing is I need the transportation rite now. Funny thing is I put some of that radiator sealer in twice, the first time it sealed but I noticed when I put the engine under high compression/wot, it will blow the temporary seal. So I drive like an old fart and refill coolant every 2 weeks (its still coming out but must be vapor).
Thing is engine has to be pulled to get to hole anyway, so I am just prolonging the inevitable.
