hi
i have 93 eldo with the bose sound system and i want to change my head unit but i have researched that when you change the head unit it want sound as good as the bose. so im willing to do every thing to make it sound better than the bose with out splicing the factory wire harness, what should i do. do i by an amp by pass kit or do i have to rewire? do i need to by new speakers and and a amp to push them since im going to bypass the amps? im just so confused please some one tell me what i should do in detail.

Well.... It sounds like your best bet would be to rip everything out and start from scratch. If you want better sound, you could try adding new speakers and using the Bose amps. If you want a new headunit, you can get an adapter so you can use the bose amps. I have a friend that has an infinity with the same bose system that your car uses and he has a kennwood headunit. He is using the stock speakers and it sounds great, if you put something else in, it will sound even better. It really all depends on what you want, you can just change the HU and speakers and use the stock amps, or you can rip everything out and add all new.
