I know someone in the group has the Borla exhaust...I think.

When I went to their site they showed no part numbers for 2005 or 2006 CTS 3.6L. Any suggestions?

huh...i just went there again...it looks like borla doesn't have one that they label "3.6"

i think the few users here, myself included, all have a 3.2 engine with the 3.2 system they offer. you'd have to call borla: 1-877.GO.BORLA and get transferred to engineering. i talked with the one guy before i got my system...maybe they have something available or have recommendations for the 3.6. he might flat out tell you no. then i guess you'd atleast knock one of the choices of the list...

They used to list the same part number for the 3.2 and 3.6 (140032), but have recently listed the 3.6L part as not available. The stock 3.6L car has 2" pipes and dual exhaust from the factory. The 3.2L part is pretty much the same, so wouldn't be much of an upgrade.

The Corsa is 2.25" for the 3.6L car, and would be an improvement in performance, but you'll have two pairs of tips hanging out the back. It also re-uses your head pipes, so there's no going back, once you cut the exhaust off. I think B&B also offers a bolt-on 2.25" dual setup for the 3.6L car, preserving your stock exhaust, in case you want to replace it when you sell. You'd have to check with them, since they talk about it on their site, but only list 3.2L part numbers.

Try Summit Racing. They have a number of outlets and usually have anything that is available and sometimes things that are not available anywhere else. Sorry I don't have all thier contact info for you, but if you use google you shouldn't have any trouble finding them. I got my 3.2 borla system from them. They shipped it for free and gave me $200 off their online price. At the time they also had the 3.6 listed.

Good luck

I lucked out. When I called to make sure they had them in stock (I had been burned by 3 other places that said they had them and then didn't), the guy said it was my lucky day. They had a one day special on them and gave me the special price.

Yippeeee for me!!!
