Hey,

I won this on that auction site. Anyone here have this? What do you think of it?

I saw no reason to replace the rest of the exhaust, but to have a suitcase sized muffler with two tips seems a bit excessive.

I'm very tempted to get this. It just adds a little noise and Borla does a great job of not having any drone on their systems. Let us know how you like it.

Sweet, keep us posted. I'm strongly considering this and really interested to hear how much noise it adds. I really want a system that's about as quiet as oem just driving around, but you can hear at wot. I do real estate for a living so I don't want something loud. I'm also curious to hear how the install goes.

Pic of the stock suitcase muffler - we did not have a scale handy, but my buddy who owns the shop and I both guesstimated the weight at 20-25 pounds.



Test fitted



Prior to final installation - they weighed about 5 pounds each, so all in all you will lose 15 pounds or so.



The only nit to pick is the clamps - they look great but even torqued all the way down, the pipes could still twist and be pulled out. We elected to weld them in permanently.

No cutting involved right? I am curious to hear your impressions on the sound. Idle and normal cruising is it something you immediately notice? Is there any drone?

You will need to cut the factory suitcase off.

Any updates on the sound of the system? Idle cruising around, wot, etc.... From their video it seemed pretty quiet overall but it's hard to tell on video with idle and normal driving around.
