Just wondering if anyone has applied the body side molding to prevent getting doored and if so, how has it stayed on and worked? I am in a hospital parking lot 12 hours at a time and people park like loons, just wanting to prevent dings if possible but if they don't stay on or hold up there's no sense.
Also wanting to get a mesh grille, not sure if anyone has one to sell, can't find them for less than $440 online, thought maybe someone may have changed one out and had it as a spare to sell?
Also, was wondering about adding a side vent to the STS 06 like I'd seen in some of the pictures on the board. Do they just notch out the fender and piece them in? And lastly, wondering about a v hood with a cowel, I did check the site in TX but they only listed CTS options, can someone tell me where to try for that?
Thanks I'm trying to be patient, the auto place still has yet to call me with transport info on my car, the waiting is killing me.....

1 - The side mouldings just stick on

2 - Those mesh grilles are extremely expensive and hard to find cheap... I have been looking for one too... I just cant spend $500 for a grille.

3 - Aftermarket side vents usually just stick on. They have a sticky backing which you stick to the car. Some also are magnets, but I wouldnt get the magnetic types. FACTORY vents are indeed drilled into the fender at the factory.

4 - Try Ebay for your STS-V hood, and have a lot of money ready... hahaha..

Good Luck!

I just ordered a set of pre-painted ones with a thin chrome insert in them from Dawn company. Most original equipment moldings are adhesive and they have it down pretty well. There's not much that can spoil my new car excitement more than a door ding. I hate to screw up the simple side treatment, but even parking in remote areas of parking lots still invites someone with an old beater to park right next to you! I can send a link if you want.
