Hi
I have a UK spec 2007 SRX with navigation & bose speakers.
All of the solutions I have come across so far for adding bluetooth connectivity to the factory audio system are for models with 'OnStar', 'SiriusXM', or 'Satellite Radio'.
I am from the UK, and we do not have any of these things here so of course my SRX has not got the equipment for it.
I have attached a picture of what my audio/nav system looks like.
Is there any way I can add bluetooth to this? I mainly want audio streaming, and wondering if there are any modules/kits I can buy to add it.
Thanks

It looks like you have an auxiliary input under the "seek<" button. You can plug a Bluetooth receiver into the input and stream audio from your phone. I have one bought thru Amazon. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0728GP9XH/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I can also pair my phone to this unit. There are many of these type units. However not familiar with availability in the UK. Most have an internal battery that must occasionally be charged or keep plugged into the car's system

Thanks for your reply.

I'm currently using an external bluetooth receiver plugged into the Aux, but I was looking for a more integrated solution, perhaps a module that can be connected behind the radio and maybe even use steering controls.
Looks like it might be easier to buy a new radio altogether, one that's more modern

I've had a look, it seems that the bluetooth kits they have only work with units with satellite radio, which I don't have

I put in the iSimple ISFM2351 into my 2003 CTS, and swapped it into my 2006 SRX. It is pretty easy to install, but you will need 2 antenna adapters. Since the device interrupts the radio antenna, the sound is great. I would highly suggest it. Links below:
