After taking my 87' Deville for a drive, I noticed the A/C Fan would not change speeds when changing the Temp or the High/Low on the Climate Control, and when i turned the climate control off the fan stayed on and blew out the heater vent. Then when i shut the car off > The fan still kept running! I pulled the bottom of the dash out and checked all the relays and the BCM but everything checked ok, so i opened the hood and unplugged the Blower Motor, Thats when I heard a "Click" Like a Relay, so i plugged the Blower Motor back in and now it all works just fine. Now i have to find that Relay thats sticking > it sounded like it was towards the drivers side in the engine compartment. I checked my manual but so far i haven't found it. Any ideas Katshot? :D

Kevin, I replaced that Module about 2 weeks ago but it was a used part out of a junk yard, Hey what can i say im cheap! :D but today when i took the car out the fan worked normal and changed speeds correctly BUT > my air didn't work and the Service Air Conditioner light came on.
So i brought the car back home and removed the Negative battery cable and depressed the Auto Button on the Climate Control and set the Temp to 60 and now everything is working fine. I took the car on a 140 mile drive after that and all systems were go! I have never had a A/C unit work as well as this one does > Now that it's fixed.

Here is my parts replacement list starting Last month with the BCM Post:
R-134a Retrofit & Charging Kit
New Accumulator
New Orifice and Orifice Tube
New Compressor Clutch Plug w/diode
Blower Motor Power Module
New A/C Compressor
BCM Body Control Module
New Pressure Switch
New Relays under dash

Kevin > it was worth it! Imagine owning a Caddy with no A/C :( I have a Buick i need to work on next, it needs converted also. Well everything is working fine with the blower motor now But, why is there alway's a But in there, after the car sets overnight and i start it up for the 1st time in the morning the "Service Air Cond" light comes on and it switches to Economy mode on the Climate Control. But once i take the Neg. Battery cable off and hit Auto the air starts working and it works for the rest of the day, even if you shut the car off and start it back up it works. I measured my battery's voltage with the car Not running it maintained 12.77 volts, the Relay that "clicks" is a 12 volt 20/30 amp relay and its mounted by itself to the same bracket that holds the Air pump behind the battery. I am thinking that relay is sticking but im not sure so What do you think about it?
