I'm looking to buy a v with mods by the previous owner. I've seen a couple across the country and my question is:
How big of a cam can be run and still pass smog in California? I've been looking a blown/supercharged/maggied cars and non-blown.

For Calif, you are gonna need the CARB sticker for the blower.

Don't even ask me how long that took to get.

I had a ls9 cam installed when I did a rebuild...I make 490 ish @ 5 pounds no real head work and no headers

I have a LS2 and ya it passes smog in socal all day long .

They list the specs as .562"/.558" and 211*/230* @ 0.050"

Its dirt cheap you can pick one up for about 100$ part number 12605527
