That is outstanding! Super sharp. Making me almost regret getting the Satin Steel. Was that unit there for a 'test drive event' that Cadillac had been sponsoring? I did one here in Austin in mid December. I have to say seeing the Lyriq in person really did not disappoint. Driving it was no disappointment either. Had a Tesla Y Performance and was a bit worried about the acceleration being dull on the Lyriq but it was fine. The interior is as spectacular as you see in pics. I was surprised that no one at the dealership noticed the 2 'demo' cars were the same Satin Steel color but with different roof colors. The DE orders get the black roof while the new '23 and '24 models get same color roofs. The dang Cadillac rep hadn't known that either and took an hour to confirm with corporate. smh.

Anyone have a clue about delivery for '23 orders done on 5/18?

May orders are most likely becoming 2024 model year cars that will start rolling out this spring/summer. Some say that if anything some RWD May orders will roll out as 2023 model year vehicles.

And the 22" look better. YMMV.
I guess the fact I can't tell the difference without looking REALLLLLYYYYY hard means I made the right choice not spending the money.

I can tell instantly.

Potholes can tell without looking.
I have a vehicle with even lower profile tires and have had zero problems. Maybe I'd be concerned if I drove a lot in winter areas that are prone to pot holes, but I don't.

I suppose someone who is a "wheel guy" could tell quicker than I. I've never really cared frankly, other than perhaps their color.

My son had a used Volvo C70 with low profile tires as his first car. In the two years he drove it, he had 4 flats due to road hazards, all of them through the sidewalls. So I guess YMMV.

"Low profile" covers a lot of different sidewall heights.

The Lyriq 22" rims have 275/40R22 tires. Those have sidewalls that are 4.3" high. Not really "low profile".

A truly low profile example would be 225/30R20 which only have a 2.7" high sidewall.

Obviously, the Lyriq profile would be much less likely to suffer from a road hazard than the 2.7" example. The 22" Lyriq tires have 59% higher sidewalls than the truly low profile example.
