I have a 07 Escalade with only 45K miles on it. Have decided its time for a supercharger but after looking around I see that some do not come with the tuning, some companies like Hennessey don't even sell the kits anymore and all the kits available are roughly the same price. I want something that is intercooled, comes with everything necessary and has a tune so the truck is ready to go. I also plan on installing long tube headers, Y pipe and exhaust so having the option to data log and get program tweeks/updates would be nice also. I live in an area where there are no tuning shops so getting it dyno tuned is not an option for me. I was leaning towards a Whipple charger but am looking for ideas from anyone with experience in this area.

Thanks!

Whipple has been the pioneer of supercharges and their kit puts out the most ponies. Their prices are better too. Whipple is the same kit that Hennessy uses and charges a lot more. Edlebroch and SLP make some nice kits too, just not as much horespower. Whipple offers the most displacement.

SLP has probably the nicest "kit" out there. It's based off the larger TVS2300.

The blower from a CTS-V / LSA will fit our engines and can be fitted quite cheaply.

Blower bottom - $500
Blower top / intercooler - $400
Heat exchanger - $350
Fluid pump - $200
FEAD - $1250
MISC hoses / clamps / fluids / etc - $400
Custom bent air intake tube - $100
Tuning - $350

= $3550 = about half the cost of a "kit"

I checked out the SLP site and they don't support the 07 and 08 models for some reason. I spoke to Hennessey and they also no longer support the 07 Escalade because they said it would have too many miles to support a blower. I told them mine only had 45K Miles but they said anything over 30K should be freshened up before applying boost....lol. So far Im leaning towards the Whipple and hopefully it would put me in the high 13 sec quarter mile range when I occasionally visit the local track

Lol 30k and a motor "freshen up"? did thy mean normal routine maintance or a complete tear down of the engine? that's ridiculous. I'm sure you'll love the whipped, keep us in the loop, I'm interested as well.
