My 1st reply here. May I ask, does this item have Airflow Mass connector that you will attach to it, once you disconnect it from original ? I also have 3.0L

IMHO, cold air intakes are a waste money on our cars! The factory intake does a great job of being a cold air intake. Save your money and spend it on something else for your CTS. Obviously, there are some that will disagree with my opinion, but the majority here will agree with me. Do some searches on the topic here on this site.

12HP improvement, don't think so!

I went with just replacing the OEM filter with a K/N filter on my 3.6...does the same as the aftermarket intake without spending $300.
I know some people that had MAFS problems with aftermarket air intakes.
