Hell all...

I have been a member of this forum for several years, but never posted anything. Thought I would start.

Since I was a little guy (8-10 yrs old) I fell in love with those big old behemoths starting with getting a ride in a 1975-6 all white DeVille. There was something about that big Cadillac. I was hooked. Everytime we went past the Cadillac dealer in my hometown, I told whomever I was with, I want one of those when I start driving. This was in the mid 80's.

Well my dreams came true with a 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D'Elegance. It had 103,XXX miles (307), moonroof, dimming lights and was a Champange with dark brown top. Due to unfortunate happens, that car was lost in a fire..:(
My grandad helped my replace it with a not as luxurious 1986 Fleetwood Brougham. This one had 98,XXX and was black with blue interior. It was part of my life for over four years and when the old reliable 307 died it was around 390,XXX.
My next Cadillac was a even better dream. I found a 1975 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham 60 Special. It was Gosomore Blue, white top and that blue stylish 70's interior. Again, not all the extras, but was nice. That big 500 engine with only 43,XXX was awesome. This car is still in my posession and needs some TLC, but is a great car with around 77,XXX.
While trying to save the 75 from winters, I purchases a Burgundy 1990 Cadillac Brougham. It had a 350 engine and had a lot of power. It had around 98,XXX miles when I purchased it. It now has over 150,XXX miles and still runs well, but it too needs some work.
My next car for my now ex wife was a 1995 Cadillac DeVille, with the 4.9 and around 118,XXX. It was a standard DeVille, but came with almost every option but moonroof. It also had after factory chrome and stylish top. It was a big step up. She now has that car and looks sad...
Just recently, I purchased a 1999 Cadillac DeVille with 97,XXX miles. It is a dark green with the tan interior and nearly all the extra options available. I love the Northstar engine...

In all, I love Cadillac and never plan to own anything different.

:welcome: and we're glad to have you here. It looks as if your blood type is C for Cadillacs. Nice story. Post some pics so we can see your stable of Caddys.
