Despite what anyone else says about this opinion... You know how it is out here in the bay (the Vee), gotta slap some d's on it... I want to go with some 5 spoke 22's with a fat lip all chrome or black with a chrome lip on my Thunder Gray 06' CTS... any body have pics and specifications on these types of rims? Also, anyone know any shops that would be down to do this whole mod cause Les Schwab wont touch it... Please help!

wow I see you have gone Dumb:stirpot:
there are a few threads around here -- contact the ppl who did it to their cars (surprisingly... all 3 used the TIS07s on their white diamond CTSes )
u cant be nonconformatist if u dont have tis07s on ur white diamond cts :)
I'm from the Bay but I have 20's....

the reason i put tis 07 is this...

i had the rims ordered before i joined this forum. i was shocked to see a couple other that had the same rims as me. that sucked! but i didn't do it to copy.

but the reason i went with those particular rim was...

i had it narrowed to about 4-5 rims i wanted. i went to my local wheel shop who i always deal with and i discussed the wheel choices i had. they said since it was a tight fit they would definatly recommend the tis 07. the reason is because the other rims (most rims fall in this category) had an offset that were pretty close to what i need for a CTS (pretty close, meaning somthing that should fit) and that with the tis wheel they actually build the wheel to the exact spec to fit a specific car (if its an unusual offest, now they do have the tis 07 in more common offests and bolt patterns that are already built). anyway, you tell them what it goes on and they build it and ship it if its not common. i waited about 6-8 weeks before mine were in, and it was worth the wait. no rub, no problem, and full turns!!!

i've seen other threads that people have 22's with the same size tire as mine and are having rubing problems. that is because the wheel isn't built for an exact fit as are these. so maybe the other people who have these same rims did it for a similar reason...

what?!?

one more thing, i'm not saying other 22's won't fit, i'm just saying i wanted to make sure these would fit before i ordered them...

thats all...
