Base model Escalade vs Premium Luxury

Do anybody have the base model Escalade? If so, how do you ike it? Do you wish you would've gone with a more premium model? I am considering purchasing a base model Escalade but the Premium Luxury does look pretty enticing since it comes with the moonroof but the base model checks off the box on everything I need. I also feel like the base model would hold up in the reliability area vs the premium counterparts but I could be wrong. This will be my first escalade. Any feedback/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day.

I say get the base model! That way you can post later on asking how to put Bluetooth, backup camera, proximity detection, etc....After the fact.
It'll give you lots of projects to do and us plenty of threads to read. Just kidding, of course. I say look to the future, and try to determine what you 'might' like to have, and get the rig that has it. An example, I wish I would have gotten something with proximity alert and heated seats, but I didn't.

I got the base Lux and love it. Has all the creature comforts (wireless CarPlay, 360 degree camera, front/rear collision alert, which really mitigates need for BSM combined with the incredible visibility), etc. Base synthetic leather seats are extremely comfortable and probably more durable than actual leather (my BMWs all have had the same type of synthetic leather and you’d never know the difference), and passengers provide same feedback on long trips (if they don’t fall asleep from the comfort)…To me was just the opposite of what some are saying - at time I was in market was very limited availability, long wait, etc, so for me was not worth the wait for $90K+ Premium Luxury or higher model (excluding all the ADM shenanigans) and all the games dealers play when ordering/waiting, when I could buy what I wanted at $80K (base Lux with few extra goodies like puddle lamps, cargo lighting, etc) and have the vehicle I wanted NOW. Also needed good tow vehicle to replace my truck and does that better and in more luxury and comfort than my former truck…Extremely happy with my base Lux.

I'm resurrecting this thread because I'm looking at an Escalade for my wife and have the same question- I would appreciate your thoughts on the base Escalade. I think I would miss SuperCruise, the camera mirror, and the sunroof (I have all three on my CT6) from the Premium Luxury trim, but saving $12,000 is also compelling.

How are the Inteluxe seats? Are they supportive? Do they show a lot of wear?

I would appreciate any observations from owners. Thanks!
