Bars Leaks Liquid Copper?

NO !!!! Copper and aluminum in a slightly acidic solution creates a battery. Bar's says it's OK for aluminum, but I'd be more inclined to go with the chemically/electrically inert powder or tablets.

Bar's powder and tablets are as common as dirt.

If your system doesn't leak now, there's no reason to think it will after a coolant change without the tablets.

Vinny, Google "bar's radiator stop leak" and get to the Bar's home page, then download the PDF product page. The tablets and powder are listed, along with a slew of other products. The page also lets you download the product tech sheet for each item.

I would stick with the B12P (?) powder or HBC tablets, the GM recommended cooling system supplements. 3 tablets/equivalent crumbled in the lower hose at refill.
Sub, the tabs are HDC. Powdered version is G12BP.
