Hello everyone. I have a slight leak in my 95 eldo's radiator. I want to add some bars seal to see if that helps before I go out and buy a new radiator. Ive heard that you shouldnt add it in the reserve tank. Can anyone tell me where it should go since the radiator has no cap. I just want to be sure, thanks for any help in advance.

It should technically go in the lower radiator hose, but I've successfully installed it to the upper hose many times without issue. You'll lose some coolant that way, but it's still cheaper than potentially clogging up the vapor vent line and overheating the engine if you install it in the surge tank. If it goes in the surge tank, it may never make it to the radiator. It will probably just settle and sit at the bottom of the surge tank. You should probably only use the Bar's Leaks Golden Seal powder or the huge tablets. The pellet stuff in black liquid might not be a good idea, but I don't really know for sure.

Let us know what you do and how it turns out.
