Well all, I just got a call from my wife that she may be checking into the hospital tonight to deliver our baby boy. My first child...I'm not sure if I'm excited or scared right now but my blood pressure is giving me the shakes. I guess I better get the car seats ready for Baby-V!! Wish us luck and (if you're religious) say a little prayer for us.

Give your wife a thrill on the way to the hospital.

Maybe you can get her to have the kid on the way

Your not gonna get an excuse to speed that often.....:tisk:

You might be the first V owner to get a police escort (not to jail)

Seriously, congrats on the upcomming event.

Oh, how I was thinking the exact same thing. I gave my wife 2 roller coaster rides to the hospital for both our kids, at the time I had a Olds Bravada. I could only wish I had the V back then. I could've had her to the hospital b/t contractions!

If you didn't take her to the hospital, Hopefully the Hospital will send her home, and you get to do it the V way!
Don't forget your hazard lights and frequent horn blows.

My wife almost dropped our first in the seat of my Impala SS on the way to the hospital. The second was an induction, so no car time. And our third came out while I was taking the others (in the V) to a friend's house to be watched, i.e., I missed the delivery.

The first three months are always tough, and you'll wonder why you ever had a kid. Then, as they get a little older, you'll wonder how you ever lived without them before.

Good luck or congrats, or both!

Thanks everyone for your support and well-wishes. Mom and baby are doing great. He came 5 weeks early so he's a little guy but he is determined to get bigger with every meal. Named him Bennett. Hopefully he can come home in a couple of weeks. Luckily, we only live about 1.5 miles from the hospital so visiting him won't be difficult at all.

Hey now you need a large cam and headers to rock the little guy to sleep.
