There are a ton of posts on this, so forgive me if the answer is embedded in one of those.
My 2016 had the jerky transmission issue. Dealer did the flush and replace around 25k miles and it solved the issue, for a while. Now at around 56k it came back, I did the flush, pan/gasket replace, reprogram, etc and it worked for about 300 miles. It’s back again.
My question: should I just deal with it, or will this eventually lead to other problems?
BTW, the dealer did not do it the second time, but it was a trusted mechanic who called the Caddy dealership who walked him thru the correct process, correct fluid, etc

My opinion (unqualified of course) is to live with it. I'm in the exact same position as you with my '16 at 92,000 miles. I got the dealer TSB flush, an independent mechanic flush and filter and mine does the same.

Pretty much, it's a trait with these 8 speed transmissions across the line of GM products. Mine is a '16 and I've numerous flushes and a valve body replacement. I had the option of a new transmission, but honestly, I just didn't want them to tear up my car to replace it. I've just learned to live with it. I will be getting an engine tune and transmission tune coming up in a few weeks. Supposedly doing a custom tune on the transmission helps a lot, but we will see.
