Everyone,

I am trying to set up a dyno day for next Wednesday 26 Oct @ Total Performance in Mt. Airy MD (About 10 Miles east of Frederick, on RT. 70). I'm shooting for 2PM - ? depending on how many people show up.

Last time cost was $75/car for 3 pulls. There were three of us that went (Marty, Gary and Myself). This time I hope to get more people to show, and only do 2 pulls per car, which should bring the price down. Once I get a better Idea how many people are interested I can pin down a better price.

TP runs a mustang 1750 Eddy Current Dyno. It works up to 225 MP & 1750 WHP, so I think everyone should be able to be tested there :D Their website is http://www.totalperf.com/ and dyno info: http://www.totalperf.com/dyno.html

Please post if you are interested, with your contact info.

We have a LOT of DC/MD/VA/PA guys close to us, come on down, and get a good baseline for your current/future mods. It's also a lot of fun checking out other's V's. All you new owners, with no Mods, come and get a baseline, so you know where you are starting from.

Thanks,

Chris

Argh, I would be interested, for 2 cars, but I'm volunteering for a school thing with my son that day. Bummer. Make sure you guys have a results post!

Well until some of the other local guys chime in (HINT HINT), right now it's just GUY (as in me) :D

It's a lot of fun to hear your car at WOT, standing a few feet behind it. You swear your car is gonna blow up. It' s also fun watching the Seniors and Children run for cover in the shopping mall behind the shop.

It's just a quick trip up 270 for you VA guys, and very close for you Central PA guys too. Drop me a line here.

I'd be in, but the time concerns me. The "quick trip up 270" for us VA peeps isn't really the big deal. It would be the not-so-quick trip back home in rush hour. However, if we wouldn't be done until 7'ish or something, then it would make the trip back a little easier. It's about a 65 mile trip from Gainesville.

When do you need to know by?

I'd like to get things finalized in the next few days. I'd say time-wise it will take about 1/2 hour per car (give or take). If others would like to do it a bit earlier, that would be fine, but I don't think I'd be able to get there before 1:30 PM at the earliest.

Evening rush hour heading South on 270 shouldn't be that bad, the other way would be hell though.

Let me know, when you know :D

I'd be taking the Rt. 15 to I-70 route, but I very rarely travel on 15 so I don't know what the traffic is like. I'll definitely let you know by Friday.

Trukk - count me in bro. I had the V dynoed at Tony's Corvette several weeks ago and since I had it dynoed stock at Total Performance, I'd like to do a couple of pulls with the recent mods. Let me know.

What time would you go to? I will be at work in Germantown or Chevy Chase till 5-ish next Wed. I would definitely try to go. Or if we could do it on another day.
I am still pushing for the 26th, however an alternate date, may be 2 Nov, would that allow more people to come?

Hell man, you're closer to Bermuda, than you are to Maryland.

On a side note though, I'm sure if you drove up, you're car wouldn't be completely and utterly heat soaked by the time you arrived. :bonkers:

I can probably do either day. Nov. 2 probably works a little better since that's more advance notice to ask for time off.

Guys,

I'm going to still shoot for this comming Wednesday. Please try and make it if you can.

So far, the only 'commit' I have appears to be Gary. Any others?

BTW, for those that can't make it, Travis at TP is a chill guy, who would work with you to set up another date. They appear to be very casual over there.
