ATS coupe/sedan seat comparisons?

Does anyone know if the sedan and coupe use the same seats? At some point it looks like my drivers seat was replaced and they didn't put a heated seat back in (the car has the option and the passenger seat is the correct seat.) I know it isn't just missing the heated seat module because the wiring harness doesn't have the plug for one, while the passenger seat has the additional module and a different wiring harness.

I've seen a few online for not too bad prices, but they're all listed as being for the sedan and I'm not 100% sure if they are cross-compatible. If anyone knows a good place to buy a replacement (not really looking to spend $1500... if so I'll just buy the Recaros or do a red interior swap) let me know, I've seen a few pop up on eBay for $3-400 in good shape.

Well, there is the release latch the lets the seat flip forward to gain entry to the rear. Sedan doesn't have that. I'm not sure how much of a pain it would be to remove the heating elements and wiring from a sedan seat and put them into your coupe seat. It looks like they are an enclosed pad that just kind of sit (maybe glued) between the foam and the leather, so it might not be that bad, but given how hard it is to do a lot of things in this car, I wouldn't be surprised if there is some head-scratching "gotcha" in there.

Also, the Recaros would probably be a no-go. Since those seats actually integrate with CUE and you can see your adjustments on the screen, the connector is probably completely different.

Guys on the Facebook page have done the recaro swap. Straight drop in and the dealer can update the cue programming for full adjustments.

Yup, I've been looking, and for the dumbest reason, too. My wife says she slides too much in the passenger seat which contributes to her car sickness. All I really want is the suede inserts for the two front seats. I haven't gotten a quote yet from an upholstery shop, but I'm sure that would be the cheapest route. I am a BIG fan of OEM look in my cars though, so I priced out just getting the lower cushion and leather/suede from the Recaro seats and just the seat-back leather/suede cover from the non-Recaro ATS-V seats and, honestly, it wasn't all that much less than getting two full Recaro seats!

Yo, stop driving it like you're alone! Seriously, have her put the seatback more vertical, tip the front of the seat cushion up and the rear down so she slides less. If that doesn't work, get some velcro.

Oh, believe me, I take it extremely easy when she's in the car, to the point where she tells me to speed up sometimes. She's not sliding front to back, she's going side to side. There isn't enough bolstering in the car for either of us, but I have the benefit of holding the steering wheel and knowing exactly what forces are going to hit me and when, she doesn't. Oddly enough, we took a new Volvo S60 for a test drive yesterday (and bought it, her new car) and I drove her around in it for several miles at the end of the test drive and she said she felt absolutely fine. She was even playing around with the touchscreen, eyes off the road and wasn't getting nauseous at all. It was the first time I've ever driven her in any car I've owned where she didn't feel sick.
