I’ve been thinking about putting some new mufflers on this summer, I want a exhaust tune so it sounds throaty but not obnoxiously loud. I’ve also been thinking when I put he mufflers on I like the ATS-V exhaust outlet and I could put quad tips on. Just wondering if anyone has done this? Do I need to buy a new rear diffuser? I was thinking you could cut the plastic for the existing exhaust piper and make it bigger to fit quad. Just some ideas I’ve been thinking about.

Yeah I have seen one guy do that, didn't see the car in person but from the pics it didn't stick out as looking bad or anything. Just gotta get a clean cut and make it look like it could have been there from the factory.

The best aftermarket sound I've heard from a 3.6 was a guy in the ATS/ATS-V Owners group on Facebook, if you search Michael Hauserman some video clips will come up. It sounded amazing, like a V6 Jaguar F-type. I couldn't believe it. Of course it wasn't just mufflers he did, but still I'd look for Borla mufflers if it were me.
