Hopefully with stories like that it will never fail at all. It seems like most of the people complaining about blown pistons in the 2.0T had it happen with low miles, under 20k or so. My previous car was a BMW X3 and many people complained about the transfer case failing, but it was always with low miles, normally under 70k or so and plenty of people with well over 100k and never had an issue. I traded my car in at 126k with no issue, so it seemed like there was a "batch" of cars who had a defect which caused them to fail early, and the rest of the cars were fine. Hopefully that is the same case with the 2.0T, the cars with issues have them fail early and get it out of the way under warranty, and the rest of the cars will never have a problem.

2013 RWD 2 1/4 years old 37,000 miles, no issues at all. I've driven it hard since I got it. After reading all of the horror stories here I drive it harder now, expecting it fail at some point, hopefully under warranty.

That is cool, I was going to take a pic at 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 ect.... for 100k miles or as long as I owned the car but then missed 6,000 by one mile and was so pissed the plan was ruined.....
Should have just driven in reverse until you could take the pic.

I've got 34,500 miles on my 2014 ATS AWD 2.0T - So far the major thing was the rear axle was leaking oil - they were originally going to just replace the seals on the unit but instead opted to replace the whole rear axle.

Every once in awhile from a dead stop the car with hesitate for a second then go - only happened two or three times since I've owned it.

The driver dash vent closest to the radio - if it's around 70+- 5 degrees outside and you have Auto selected on the heating system that vent will blow 90 degree air out of it while the other vents blow 72 degree air. Pretty annoying when that 90 degree air is blowing in your face. I took it into the shop and was told that was "normal operation" - even had a video of it happening... oh well I guess there is always bound to be something odd with cars these days...

Other than that it's been running great, averaging about 26 mpg over the life of the vehicle...

2013 2.0T with 6sp manual. I picked this car up used/pre-owned from Sewell Cadillac in Dallas TX with 9155 miles on the odometer at purchase on May 8th. Driving it back from the Dallas area to the Seattle/Puget Sound area was a 2500 mile trip. Currently I just turned 14,000 miles. No problems at all to report. It's been a very nice owner experience thus far. The spark plug maintenance bulletin was performed prior to my purchase... in fact all maintenance bulletins were completed prior to my purchase. The only thing I'm looking to update is the standard tune to either KPE or the Diablo solution, replace the run flat tires.... and look at a possible upgrades to the OEM sway bars for the FE3 suspension vs. the of
ferings by Eibach.

I'm on my second ATS and after 29 thousand miles it's gone. We are now in a 2015 SRX because after two trouble filled ATS's we didn't want another one. So far we love the SRX and are hoping it will treat us well. The ATS was an awesome car with lots to like but they had too many issues.

2013 2.0t with 28K miles. Never any problems (other then the obligatory recalls and routine maintenance, which were performed painlessly by excellent dealer). Wife loves the car. Has always run great on regular gas (I know it's a turbo). Only complaint per wife is the stiffness of run flats, although they have maintained pretty well and will last up to 30K when we return the low mileage 3 year lease. She would like another one but we may opt for an srx or wait for an xt5.
