I have a '14 ATS 2.0 standard. 800 miles on it. Driving to work at about 50 mph on a flat road, maintaining speed (not accelerating, no hill, car downshifted. 10 seconds later it downshifted again, this time raising rpm's to about 3K. Still not accelerating, at this point foot is off gas. Does it again and car revs high but speed is not increasing so it wasn't a safety type instance. I shifted into neutral and engine went back to idle speed. Shifted back into drive and no further incidents rest of the day. Is this a known issue? I didn't see anything on a search. Most likely not repeatable at dealer. Is this something I need to worry about?
