When you hit the lock button on your keyless remote is the car suppose to make somekinda of alarm sound orallyou are suppose to hear is the locking of the doors and the light blink? I am used to cars making a noise when you hit the door lock part and mine does not make they noise. Am I missing something here.


Also I have a radio and cassett player in my catera and I wanted to upgrade to a cd player is that possible? I would really like to play some cds in my car.

Yes and no the harness maybe different, or the bolt on the bose could be in a different location. I drive sevilles and devilles so im not familiar with the catera. No offense but the catera tends to be to picky for me its german and so are all the parts but GM did make a cd player for it heres some ebay links.

you may need the harness that runs from the 9-pin connector under the kick panel on the passenger side to the trunk for the CD changer. I have 97 non-Bose and added a CD changer and the harness (found the harness at GM Parts Direct). No problem.
