OK, I tried to repair my arm rest with a kit I bought. What a mess.

I want to bring it down to the upholstery shop.

I can't figure out how it comes off:mad:

Help

I hate to say it, but I believe "we told you so"....... :)

I cant picture what it looks like, but if you cant figure it out, the upholstery shop should be able to get it off for you......

I know, I Know:(

I'm sure they could take it off but I was hoping to just drop it off so they could deal with it without leaving the car.

Maybe someone else has had this problem.

I wouldn't try to take it off without knowing how, I wouldn't risk wrecking it.

I've got the same problem with the arm rest. I need to replace the window switch and don't want to be worse off than now.

At the back of the switch panel is a notch. Insert a long, thin bladed screw driver in it, and push almost straight down (slight angle under the panel). This will push a spring clip forward and release the panel. Once that's lifted out (hook at front, clip at rear), 2 phillips screws on a large bracket are visible. Pull those, and then look under the 2 light fixtures for the other 2. Pop the cover like you're going to change the bulb, and then sqeeze together the 2 clips that hold the whole fixture in. Once it's pushed out of the way, you'll see the other 2 screws. On second thought, pull the 2 BACK screws first, or you'll drop the armrest on your head like I did... Hope that helps.
