got my EGR valve today and a couple of gaskets for round 9 of my ping battle :hammer:

needed to know the torque specs for the bolts that hold down the EGR valve

also need the torque specs for the bolts that hold the Throttle body down to the manifold

if anyone could give me the specs id appricate it along with my aluminum intake manifold , i really dont wanna strip the threads , waiting till tomorrow morning to do it before i start it so everything will be nice and cool :D

The only specs I could find were for the throttle body and the intake manifold.
TB - 14 lb/ft.
Intake -
Step 1 - 8 lb/ft.
Step 2 - 12 lb/ft.
Step 3 - Repeat step 2
The sequence is from the center out alternating from side to side.
I doubt there's a spec for the EGR valve. Just use your best guess. Snug but not torqued like with a 1/2" breaker bar ;)

got my egr in it today , doesnt ping as much but still pings under certain conditions :

engine above 195 degrees
light throttle applied

it wont ping under heavy acceleration or while cruiseing along at a steady speed on level ground

this is really getting frustrateing , should i even worry about it at this point?
