Hi, I would be interested in selling my 5 day old B&B cat back resonator version. I had it installed Thursday and it is not quite loud enough for me. I would be open to trading/buy an X pipe. I would rather sell this and buy a new X pipe version than just buy a new X pipe from Boat. I will ship in the original box or you are welcome to pick it up in Louisville, KY. Dave, you only need to change the resonator for the x pipe. The rest of the system is the same. I'm sure you can find someone who doesn't want the x pipe and wants the resonator. see, problem solved!

Will is right. I changed the X pipe for the resonator and all I had to pay for was the shipping.

yeah B&B had been doing free swaps both ways for people who wanted more or less "music" volume.

I asked B&B about swapping my resonator for an X pipe. They would not swap it out but offered to sell me one for $350. If I can sell my 5 day old resonator system for $750 and buy a new X pipe version for $900, it saves me $150 relative to spending $350 on an Xpipe from Boat. Please let me know if I am wrong.

I guess all that Boat bashing on this forum of a few months ago has reduced the level of friendliness that they were exhibiting last year. If you want to take the time to do the search, you can probably find a post FROM BB where they said that they would do the swap for free. Maybe if you remind them of that, they will still honor it.........

If you order an XPIPE from B&B you will also get new lead pipes with small resonators. Ask B&B if they will just sell you the XPIPE in the middle for less. Then use the lead pipes from the resonator exhaust without the small resonators. That's the set up I have and I love it. I also have the B&B LT headers with cats it it sounds great!
