I was just wondering if anyone that had stock HID's upgraded to aftermarket bulbs to give an aftermarket color to their trucks.. my brother has an Acura TL that he just swapped out the stock hid's for aftermarket ones.. now they are mroe blue.. i think it looks pretty sweet and was thinking of doing the swap.. just wanted to see if anyone else has done something like this and has pics... i used to have 8000k in the headlights and fogs on my durango I had before this truck and I think it looked sweet.. the stock hid's are nice on the escalade but i think giving it a more blue look would be nice.. what do you guys think...

Below is my Durango that had 8000k...

I have a set of 5100k Philips/Osram for the 02-06's I tried in my 03', they were just too blue/purple for me, went back to stock, but they looked great on, I got them in Germany a few years ago.

I like the 8000K. Looks hella nice.

I have tried 6000k, 8000k and 10000k and like the 5100k they just give up too much output, really nitice it driving in upstate NY where it was real dark. 4300k is the most light output of any temp/color. :)
