I herd people were going, then I wrote to Dado and he said he's not going. I was able to take off and would like to go, so I was curious if anyone else was still interested.

I was and am planning on it, but it sucks if dado isn't going to be there.. As that was one of the big perks for me to go, to see the master through a CTS-V all over the track and keep her under control. I looked at Englishtowns website and it looks like there is a lot going on Saturday. I was under the impression that the track was rented and was going to be a grudge match between the CTS-V's and the Mopar boys.. And then as a plus some drifting.. I wonder what happened??
Maybe I will just run up here and play it safe.. Any more updates from who might know what it going on would be great..

Just trying to figure out if I want to make the 6hr plus trip one way or race at my local track... Thanks..

Bill,

The reson why Englishtown is going to be busy this saturday, is b/c last weekend the Corvette Challenge was rained out and rescheduled for this coming saturday. 100+ Corvettes of all different years. From 14sec to 8sec vettes. Its also a Pro 8 Event. Heads up racing for the elite 8!!! Very Fun to watch the finals.

I will be there, however without the V as I will be in the Corvette Challenge. Hoping to sneak into the Pro8!!!

Well, that certainly dampens my enthusiasm. I hadn't really planned much on going this weekend but had lately really thought about going. I doubt it now if it's going to be overrun by Vette guys. But if there is still going to be a significant V/SRT turnout, I still might consider it.

I am sorry to say but Damian and me are no longer with Moore Cadillac. We do still plan on being involved in this community and keep competing in a V. At the moment we are working out on some deals to keep this project going elsewhere. It was a great season and I am glad you guys enjoyed the videos. We will be making a post later on with a better explanation. I would still recommend for you guys to go up to englishtown and try your V's out and show those srt8's who is the boss :) Go out and have a good time. Have a nice weekend everyone.

This is an HHP sponsored event and with the departure of Damian and Dado from Moore Cadillac, we no longer have any affiliations with the dealership or team. We wish both Damian and Dado the best of luck as we know we'll be seeing them emerge back on the scene really soon.

Here's the info on Saturday's track day. We go to Englishtown several times a year during open track days and they give us our own staging lanes and unlimited runs instead of the normal 3 runs you would normally get. We usually schedule our track days on their slow days so that we usually make up the majority of the field. There will be other cars running but we usually get preferential treatment and our wait times are not bad. Usually just long enough to let the engine cool a little bit. We plan our track days for 10 am on, though Englishtown opens around 8:30 to 9 and racing starts between 9 to 9:30.

We host these events to give the forum members we deal with a chance to get together and hang out with other fellow forum members and have some fun at the track. It's more our way to give back to the forum members that support us and most of the guys that attend these events are new to the track and probably would never venture out there if it wasn't for these events. If you've never been on the track, this is a great experience at a great track and there will be a lot of experienced guys to answer any questions you may have. We'll have prizes for the best times (and maybe worst, too) and a few giveaways. There will be a pretty large number of Mopar cars there and these guys are another great group of people. They're also dissappointed that the Moore Team won't be joining us but they, too, would really like to have you guys there for some fun rivalry. I will be speaking with the Track Manager again tomorrow and will post any updates I receive from them and any additional information as to what our schedule of events will be and give you guys some more information about the other events going on at the track this Saturday.

I know that 6 hours is a heck of a lot to drive and might not be in your best interest but for you guys that are a little closer, we would love to have you there.

And for you guys that are coming up from the VA, DC and Baltimore area, if you want to cruise up with our Mopar guys, we have a handful coming up from your area that are looking for a place to meet up.

Hope to see you guys there!

Joshua, HHP
