It looks pretty sleek. I was wondering if it looks as authentic as the pictures make it out to be. How does it look on raven black. ANY PICS? Thanks

I had that one, but it began to tarnish very quickly. I then went back and bought a black one, and it looks very nice.

does it look better than the chrome? Did you keep it clean....chrome polish etc? Or is it just cheap, and it tarnished.

I have one... I bought it from someone on the forum... Key to this item is to make sure that the V logo is NOT just a sticker, but actually etched into the chrome. Mine is... Oh, and mine does is not tarnishing at all. I live about a 10 minute WALK from the beach too (no road salt though!)

Reed got that from me. I actually bought 2 thinking one for the front and one for the back, but soon figured out you can't use it on the front plate. I believe Reed and I have had these for about a year and a half. No issues with mine either.

Zpeedztarz on eBay. Took me awhile to search through my 235 eBay feedbacks. Yes I have a problem. I bought this January 6th, 2005. So I've had it on roughly 11 months. I thought it was longer. But anyway it looks as good as the day I put it on.

The black one mounted to the front of my V is starting to rust on the backside now that it is about a year old.

I have the black one on the back of my Platinum V and she is holding up great. My V emblem is a sticker though...:nono:

Ours are chrome plated and the V logo is etched. Very nice. I'm sure the chrome plating adds to the durability of the piece.

I bought the chrome version from zpeedztarz about a year ago. Excellent price, and fast shipping. After a year the frame is tarnishing and it cannot be treated. Although, that's not bad for $8.... I think I'm going to buy a black one now.

Ive had ours close to a yr now, still in perfect shape. Mine were the etched type, and I dont remember who I purchased from.
