It's happened twice, now ... the little "R" that shows up when you're in reverse has stayed on when I'm going forward! Stopping and shifting into reverse and back into 1st cures it, so it's not a major deal ... just a little annoying. It's probably just an adjustment. Where is that switch located, anyway?

The reverse switch is located at the top rear of the transmission tailshaft housing and has two wires leading to it which look much like the CAGS harness.

Haven't had that happen, but occasionally my info display will lose the center when it's on the tire pressure reading; all I get is the four little tire icons and that's it. Not to mention at random times the radio won't show what track is playing on the CD. But it's so odd and random I can't demonstrate it for a tech.

I think everyone has had one or more of these peculiar, occasional problems that can never be repeated for the service department when you want it to happen. These kind of excentricities are common in complex computer controlled systems and probably will always be with us for anything that is computer controlled. In my case, the random failure is the memory seat adjustment. It normally happens when I put the key in the ignition switch(that is what it is programmed for), but occasionally it doesn't work until I actually turn the ignition on. Go figure.

I have the same things occur on occasion. I just shut the radio off (or turn it up) downshift and haul ass for a minute or two. It doesn't fix the problem - but it does seem to cure my frustration for the moment ;)
