Was going to buy a black mesh grill. Has anyone painted the stock grill black? Pics would be nice to see if it is an option for me.

I was wondering if you did that yourself or had a paint shop do it. I was thinking of doing the same thing, and have gotten a OEM grill to do it to and still be able to save the original.

Did you get raven black mixed in a rattle can or a off the shelf black, or paint shop matched and sprayed?

Thanks...the grill looks awesome
Have a paint shop do it. And be sure to get a warranty for the paint job. You don't want your paint dripping all over the place after rain and snow.

Paint shop with factory match paint code and clear coated....I guess these other processes work, I am just a little particular with stuff like this.

I do have one question regarding the vinyl - I see you guys using it all over the car (lights, grill, bezel..etc) Is that stuff that durable? What about stone chips and stuff like that?
I dropped by my paint/car guy Saturday. He took off the grill and the chrome strip. I should have it all back on tomorrow. Will post a pic when done.

Next is the rear deck spoiler.

Then some new matte black 5 spoke 18" wheels.

Anyone have pics of a 1" lowered CTS with 18" wheels.
Incognito...is your car black? Should look badass. :yup:
Done and installed today.....Pics on a new thread
