I've got a few CD's that produce audible static and garbled sound on less than perfect CDs. These CDs have a normal amount of surface scratches on them for CDs of their age. These play fine in other CD players I have. But in my CTS-V I get audible static and garbled sound (even difficulty reading the first track at all on one) on parts of them. Does our CD player just suck? Or is it just the one in my car? Does "cleaning" actually do anything? I bought this car certified, so I don't know if it was originally better than this at one time or not.
