The best auto racing in the world is USAC midgets on either pavement or dirt. There are more unbelievable car control moments per lap than the average human cardiac system can stand. If you have never been there and seen that, you have the experience of a lifetime to look forward to. 900 lb. cars with 400+ horsepower on a 66" wheelbase. The steering is about 1/2 a turn lock to lock and they use it all on every lap. Imagine cars 3 and 4 wide in the turns on a 1/2 mile track turning 130 MPH laps. It will take your breath away if you can manage to draw it in first. Even the sports car purists find themselves jumping up and down like jackrabbits when first introduced to this activity. There is nothing in F1 racing that can even remotely compare to a slide job pass with inches to spare in a pack of cars.
