You would buy another? I think they will be going back to rebate and maybe some package deals. One manufacturer is giving away free gasoline..a lot of it.J.E.T. said:The so-called "employee discount" (yea, right,:histeric: :histeric: ) deal ends this week on most GM vehicles. Anyone hear what the next "deal" will be? I'm in the market now...........:yup: :yup:

I think they jumped the GTO from 350HP to 400. Almost like a V but a lot cheaper! It it available with the automatic? That would make it better than a V in some ways.J.E.T. said:Got no choice Robert, dang CTS is in the shop more than it's in my garage. Thinking GTO this time........going to drive one today.

They changed the engine from the LS1 tothe LS2, so it's 400hp now. Yes, auto is standard. 6 speed manual is optional.RobertCTS said:I think they jumped the GTO from 350HP to 400. Almost like a V but a lot cheaper! It it available with the automatic? That would make it better than a V in some ways.
That really gripes me that the Cadillac doesn't offer an auto with the V but the under dog Pontiac does!:mad2: I bet it's there old 4spd auto instead of the 5spd.Jon said:They changed the engine from the LS1 tothe LS2, so it's 400hp now. Yes, auto is standard. 6 speed manual is optional.

I would entertain the thought in '07.
They are working on a '07 model, which will be a complete redesign.J.E.T. said:Read some talk that the GTO might be on the chopping block after this year. Sad if it's true.
