I was cleaning out my garage the other day and found the original stereo from my 2000 Cadillac STS. It is the MiniDisc system, which I must assume was a very rare option. I removed it when I did the DVD/GPS mod. It's just taking up space...anybody like to buy it from me?

Yeah, it was pretty rare, mostly because nobody used Minidisc ;) . It would be a novelty more than anything else. What are you asking?

Re: Any Interest?

I haven't got a clue what it's worth. $50?

Hard to say. I've seen a couple on Ebay, don't remember what the starting bid was, or what they sold for.

I actually wouldn't mind grabbing it, but... the dealer put an 18" long scratch in my quarter panel last week. They're paying to have it fixed, there's going to be paint left over, I have a little project planned that's going to cost ~$100.

I'll keep an eye on this thread, if you don't sell it in a few weeks, maybe I'll PM you.

Re: Any Interest?

Okay, thanks. Yes, the head unit has a MiniDisc player in it. I don't have a pic of mine at the moment (at work) but can take one later. Looks like this:
