Occassionally, we get lawsuit threats for various reasons.. I'm wondering if there's anyone around here who'd be willing to evaluate these threats...

Basic question: can CadillacOwners.com be sued if a user posts something about a business or product without their permission. It doesn't matter whether the comment is positive or negative.

I would think that it's kind of like a newspaper being sued for printing letters to the editor.

CadillacOwners.com can be sued but the site would win. Once a business puts itself out to the public, it is subject to critique by the public. Restaurant reviews, Car & Buyer, etcetera.
