I was driving home yesterday and going uphill my 92 Deville Touring kind of just jerked back. The "anti-lock" and "traction off" lights went on and off. Almost sh#t myself lol.

This only happened that time, and I've drove it around for a week or so now, as it was just purchased on the 9th. Anyone have a clue what's going on?

My hypothesis: wires? here is why:

The prev owner had tried to get subs in there. Welp, not a good electrician. Left the radio disconnected and a speaker cable on the battery. And my Climate Control only works if you press a couple buttons when the car starts. I think all the misinformed wire jenga may have left me with these issues.

Another possibility, since ECC doesn't like to turn on, could be the BCM. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. Any circuit/wire diagrams will help me a lot.

Misspoke a little: this happened TWICE and within a couple minutes of each other. BTW, I want to mention that I drive in the mountains, so this could very well be a safety issue. Its why I want to figure it out as soon as I can.

STEP #1 - ALWAYS - check for codes
My ECC does not work, so it's a pain to get the codes. But a few days ago, was able to make it work and got E52 (disconnected battery about a week ago); F30 (bad ECC connection to BCM, and I'm aware of this); F48 (twice, but i just need freon)

I will check once more, since this happened I have not, but it still takes the luck of somehow getting the ECC to turn on for my car to give me any codes. Dont have OBD2 connection, obv

The '92 won't show ABS or TC codes via the onboard diagnostics. There is a separate ABS module under the passengers seat. When I had that warning on my '92, I just decided to drive without ABS. Six months later the RF wheel bearing started to growl. When I replaced the hub & bearing assembly, the warning was gone. That said, you might want to check the wheel speed sensor connection on the inboard side of each of the 4 hub assemblies.
