Yes,

On your car there should be a port on the driver side lower dash behind the lower dash shield. The location of the port is in the FSM (Factory Service Manual) model specific. You will need a device such as a Tech II to read the stored codes.

All of this is totally unecessary with your year model Cadillac though.

Pick up a scan tool. They are cheap on ebay, usually around 50 bucks.

I have an AutoXray XP240 they go for about 50 bucks used and I love mine. Can read the O2 sensors in real time and help to diagnose many problems.

There is one on ebay right now wiht a starting bid of believe it or not 9.99 I am sure it will get to 50-100 but it is just a thought.

Here is a link to one that has a decent pic.

Ebay Link if it works

Hmmm.. unless you dashboard displays are broken, you can read all the codes right from your dash. You can also control many engine settings from there. All you have to do is to enter the diagnostic mode.

Caddys have this feature built-in.

If you worked on th eheater core (replacing?) you had to remove, ECM, PCM . Probably you did not put them back properly. Check all the connections once again.
