Kewl, but one motor would burn out and you'd be stuck in that car for the rest of your life. :p

Dear God...do I EVER WANT THAT THING!

Talk about a once in a lifetime opportunity...concept cars rarely ever make it away from the automaker, especially in this day and age, and to have one that's actually completely driveable but with such a one-off feature, the show quality would never die.

Wow, eat your heart out John Delorean!

God I love Mark VIII's. If something happened tomorrow to my car, and I had to get a newer car, it'd be a Mark VIII, or *possibly* an LT1 FWB, but probably the VIII, as they're much more common/cheaper.

Hi Fellas,

That car is awesome. Coincidentally,
I was just about to get a 1996
Mark VIII with about 125,000 miles,
as spare quasi beater car, at a
reasonable price (I think? approx.
$3,100.00 USD). Is that a rip off?
Should I be worried at that mileage?
Are there any pitfalls or things
that should be a source of concern?

I anticipate that my learned friends
herein can provide me with a considerable
measure of enlightenment.

I thank you in advance;
Please advise.

Best Regards,

I bought my 1995 Mark VIII in damn near mint condition with 78k miles for $4000. I think that price of $3100 with that many miles on the car should be a little lower

I saw this on Ebay and kept meaning to post it up here. Anyway the bids are going through the roof (it's @ $25,100 as I type). Should've bought this one to Barret Jackson.

Wow, that is a neat find.. but not worth $25K IMO.

I am going to look at this one tomorrow:

The guy was sketchy when I talked to him, he had just bought the car himself and is now selling it..... hmmm....

well I am not talking about a stock Mark VIII, I was talking about My 93 Lincoln Mark VIII. stock gen 1 should be between 6.5 give and take. Stock gen 2 shoud do it in 6.9 give and take.
Car and Driver (professionals) got a best of 7.1 on a '93 Mark VIII.
