Another fellow member in distress over low oil pressure at Idle!

Hello all, it's been a while since I've posted on here.

I see my last thread got over 6,000 views wow, neat!

Now, as far as my vehicle's issue and low oil pressure, i have reviewed various threads but not many have seemed to follow up on what helped their vehicle get fixed after the the oil sensor switch had been replaced and the problem continued.

Can someone please chime in on this? I would greatly appreciate it, i will also update this when i find my fix. Thanks.

I had the low oil warning at idle but my truck was also rattling from the engine verifying that there was actually low oil pressure and not just a bad sensor, Before tearing into it I ordered oil pump timing chain and all associated gaskets, when i tore it down I found a brittle o-ring at the oil pump pickup to be the culprit, after repairing this, oil pressure was back to normal and even my rattle at cold startup was gone, this was my situation

If it's the sensor on the top back of the motor, that has been replaced. Do you think i received a faulty sensor? It made no change to the previous.
just curious what warnings are you getting that lead to low oil pressure
Yeah generally if your getting the chime the problem is sender or actual oil pressure, where did you purchase the new sender ?
